Now, one of Liverpool’s most exciting youngsters could be about to sign a new long-term contract with the Reds after a stellar season in the first-team.

According to the Liverpool Echo, Liverpool have opened discussions with Conor Bradley over signing a new long-term contract with the Reds ahead of Alexander-Arnold’s likely move to Real Madrid at the end of this season.
Bradley has been a regular for Liverpool this season with the defender proving to be quite the understudy for Alexander-Arnold, with the Northern Ireland international making 22 appearances in all competitions for Slot’s side.
Moreover, the right-back has impressed when called upon, with Ally McCoist lauding Bradley as ‘magnificent’ after Liverpool’s 4-0 League Cup win against Tottenham last month, booking the Anfield side’s spot in the final.

Indeed, Bradley has more than impressed when given the chance at right-back this season for Liverpool, and the decision to hand the defender a new contract could be one that ends saving the Reds millions down the line with Alexnader-Arnold leaving this summer.

With Bradley on course to make his 50th career appearance for Liverpool this season, the Northern Ireland talent has grown leaps and bounds for the Reds since breaking into the first-team last year under Jurgen Klopp.
And this season has seen the 21-year-old enjoy some truly brilliant moments for the Reds, with Bradley’s performance against Real Madrid a notable high point as the fullback kept Kylian Mbappe silent and produced a clean sheet at Anfield.
With rugby legend Rory Best also impressed with Bradley’s performances for Liverpool this season, the defender has shown he can be a true successor to Alexander-Arnold in the future, and a new contract is more than deserved for the youngster.
