Liverpool have confirmed their status as Premier League champions, with full attention now focused on the summer.

The Anfield side are set for one of their busiest off-seasons in recent memory, with Paul Scholes predicting Liverpool to sign at least six players as Arne Slot looks to evolve his squad even further after this year’s title win.

As well as new signings, a number of players in the current squad are also expected to leave, with Darwin Nunez strongly linked with a move away from Liverpool as Saudi Arabian clubs now being to eye Diogo Jota.

And Liverpool are now willing to listen to offers worth £45m for one player this summer, a name who Mohamed Salah greatly respects.

According to TeamTalk, Liverpool are open to selling Harvey Elliott this summer, with the Reds willing to listen to offers worth £45m for the England youth international amid interest from the likes of Borussia Dortmund and Newcastle United.

Salah lauded Elliott earlier in the season despite the Liverpool midfielder not managing to fully convince Slot that he deserves a more permanent place in the Reds’ first team, even after providing some huge moments against the likes of PSG.

Indeed, Elliott’s future at Liverpool has been in the rumour mill in recent weeks with current signs suggesting that the former Fulham wonderkid could leave if a convincing enough offer was made during the summer.

And with Liverpool now setting a £45m asking price for Elliott, there is a chance that a club could come in with a bid for the 22-year-old midfielder, who could determine that his career is best served away from Anfield.

It feels like Elliott has been around forever despite his tender age, with the England youth international still one of the youngest players in the Liverpool squad despite making close to 150 appearances for the Premier League giants.

And as a result of Elliott’s age and his experience with Liverpool, selling the midfielder this summer would feel like a crazy decision from the Reds, especially with the youngster proving with his limited appearances to be a quality option for Slot.

Changes to the midfield roster could see Elliott play more next season, and at 22-years-old, the Liverpool talent is far from hitting his peak, with the best yet to come from the midfielder at Anfield.
