Arne Slot has just over one week to start formulating a new plan for Liverpool’s attacking line.
Slot has completely overhauled the Reds’ forward options this summer, adding Hugo Ekitike, Alexander Isak and Florian Wirtz to the mix.
While there is immense excitement over the new trio amongst the Liverpool fanbase, Slot is the man who must work out how to get the best out of each of them together.
That may not be as straightforward as it sounds, with Ekitike, Isak and Wirtz all used to playing with different players in different systems.
There may be some teething issues.
Some on the outside have been questioning why Liverpool wanted to sign Isak at all, having already spent big money on Ekitike.
The Frenchman has started his career at Anfield in scintillating form.
Isak is clearly a level above Ekitike just at the moment, but some insiders at Liverpool are reportedly wondering how long that will be for.

Had only Isak been signed this summer, Liverpool supporters would have still been happy.
If it were Ekitike by himself, perhaps the excitement would have been less so.
Nevertheless, the 23-year-old has started brilliantly with the Reds, impressing just about everyone in the process.

And according to The Daily Mail, insiders at Liverpool think Ekitike may prove to be ‘just as good if not better’ than Isak in the long run.
The Reds’ data team are said to have ranked their new No.
While expectations within Liverpool are high for Ekitike, they are also obviously delighted with the capture of Isak as well.
According to The Mail, Arne Slot in particular has been a big fan of the Swede for a long time.
The future Liverpool head coach is also claimed to have told friend Marcel Keizer that he had never felt as ‘hopeless’ as when trying to put together a plan for his AZ players to stop Isak in the Europa League for Real Sociedad.
Liverpool themselves are said to have been following the 25-year-old since before he left AIK for Borussia Dortmund in 2017.
As Isak himself said upon his signing on Monday, it has been a long journey to get here, but hopefully it will be worth the wait.
