Marc Guehi should’ve already been a Liverpool player by now.
And, while some may argue that the players Liverpool have brought in have already made it perfect, there’s still a nagging feeling that Guehi’s arrival could’ve been one of the most important of the window.

And, although Liverpool is Guehi’s ideal destination, the fact that clubs such as Real Madrid are now circling him means that his head could be turned.
“In defence, you have Marc Guehi – sure, the Crystal Palace centre-back is interesting.
Guehi could be an option for the future, but on this list is also Castello Lukeba from RB Leipzig.”
If Liverpool really want Guehi to become their new defender, they may have to spend a couple of quid to bring him to Anfield in January.
So, in reality, if they’re not going to make a move for another centre-back other than Guehi, it makes sense for them to give Palace a smaller fee than originally agreed upon to acquire his services.
