The report also goes on to say that Liverpool value him at ‘over £40million’ with Bayer Leverkusen showing the ‘strongest interest’ in the defender.
Despite being willing to sell the centre-back, Liverpool realise Quansah has ‘plenty of potential’ left to fulfil as he’s only 22 years old.
At the moment, Liverpool only have four centre-backs among their ranks in Quansah, Van Dijk, Konate and Joe Gomez.
So, if the sale of Quansah was sanctioned, the Reds would only be left with three options at centre-back, and to be honest, Gomez’s injury history doesn’t bode well for the future.
