Liverpool have been told they will need to pay £43m to land a winger who is on Michael Edwards’ radar ahead of the summer window.

One area where Liverpool are likely to strengthen this summer is on the wing.



The Reds will need to bolster their options, with the club’s likely new manager, Arne Slot, having a preference for traditional wing play.

Now according to HLN Nieuws, Liverpool have been told they will need to pay at least €50m in order to land Bakayoko.

That’s around £43m and it’s roughly how much Liverpool paid to land Cody Gakpo from PSV last year.

Especially since he is a left-footed right-winger, which is exactly what Liverpool will need this summer to provide a back-up option and a future heir to Mohamed Salah’s throne.

£43m may seem like a lot of money.
