Manchester City believe that they could win the race to sign Jude Bellingham ahead of Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool and other clubs from Borussia Dortmund in the summer of 2023, according to 90min.

90min have reported that now that Pep Guardiola has extended his stay as the Manchester City head coach, the defending Premier League champions believe that they are well-placed to bring Bellingham to the Etihad Stadium at the end of the season.

City striker Erling Haaland has reportedly told Bellingham to move to the defending Premier League champions.

Manchester City are also interested in the teenager, who has scored three goals and given two assists in 15 Bundesliga matches and has also scored four goals and provided one assist in five UEFA Champions League games for Dotmund so far this season.

According to Jacobs, Chelsea are also interested in the former Birmingham City midfielder, described as “an unbelievable player” by his England international teammate and Newcastle United right-back Kieran Trippier on BBC Sport this month.

This will come as a blow to Liverpool, who are keen on the England international midfielder as well.

CBS Sport journalist Ben Jacobs has reported on Twitter that Liverpool and Real Madrid are the frontrunners for Bellingham and want to sign him in the summer of 2023.
