After spending heavily during the transfer window so far, Liverpool look likely to make some sales between July and September.
The Reds often operate on a sell-to-buy policy and, although this is not absolute, they will look to balance the books ahead of the new season.
This could result in some changes being made to Arne Slot’s Liverpool squad in the near future.
One player who has been linked with an exit this summer is left winger Luis Diaz, who has been attracting interest from both Bayern Munich and Barcelona.
Bayern reportedly discussed contract details with Diaz before seeing an approach to Liverpool dismissed by the Reds.
But with speculation continuing that the Colombian could leave, Barcelona are said to be ready to bring him to Camp Nou.

Diaz had a really good season with Liverpool.
Ending the campaign with 17 goals, his tally of 13 in the Premier League was second only to Mohamed Salah.
After Liverpool knocked back interest from Barcelona in Diaz earlier in the summer, the Catalan club seemed set to focus on Athletic Bilbao winger Nico Williams.

However, Williams signed a remarkable 10-year contract with Athletic on Friday, leading to fresh claims that Barcelona would come back in for Diaz again.
And according to Spanish outlet Mundo Deportivo, that is exactly what will happen.
7 is once again ‘Plan A’ for Barcelona following Williams’ rejection.

Diaz and his representatives are said to have informed the Blaugranas that the player is ‘determined’ to leave Anfield to join Barcelona and that he is prepared to hand in a formal transfer request to make it happen.
The tragic and unfathomable death of Diaz’s teammate Diogo Jota is, rightfully, said to be Diaz’s full focus over the coming days.
But it is claimed that ‘in a few days’, Diaz will inform Liverpool of his plans and put his move to Barcelona in motion.
The rumbling saga of Diaz is a reminder that amid the total devastation of the loss of Jota on Thursday, there will be more changes to come at Liverpool this summer.
For the time being, though, no one at the club should be thinking about transfers.
Jota is the only thing in the thoughts of everyone connected with the club and it feels wrong for any discussions to be going on besides honouring the No.
Diaz will know that, too.
Nevertheless, the tragic reality is that Liverpool will have to come back and do business this summer, as impossibly hard as that may feel.
For Diaz, that feels likely to result in him finding a new club, Barcelona or otherwise.
