It’s been reported that Liverpool will do all it takes to land Alonso, who has interest from Bayern Munich as well.

According to a report from GiveMeSport this weekend, Liverpool are actively considering other names alongside Alonso.
One of those names is Brighton and Hove Albion manager, Roberto de Zerbi.
It’s claimed in the report from GMS that De Zerbi has been earmarked by Michael Edwards and Richard Hughes as someone they could move for if Alonso is a no.
Indeed, it’s suggested that De Zerbi has been well looked at and the fact he is in England already plays to his advantage.
There’s absolutely no doubting the quality of De Zerbi and he’s shown at Brighton that he can do the business so far.
The Italian has a lot of admirers as well and has been tipped by a few to be good enough for the Liverpool job.

Micah Richards recently said De Zerbi would be ideal for the Reds, while ex-Liverpool man Stephen Warnock has also suggested the Brighton boss is really well liked at Anfield.
Like Alonso, De Zerbi is unlikely to be let go with ease by Brighton.
However, the Seagulls have shown a willingness to do business if the deal is right for them, as they did with Alexis Mac Allister in the summer.
De Zerbi, then, is definitely one for Liverpool fans to keep an eye on.
