Liverpool have a serious pool of young talent and other clubs are only beginning to realise.
The Reds had a flurry of incomings at the beginning of the transfer window, and now pre-season has started up, Arne Slot will be able to work out what players fit where.
A 3-1 win at Preston meant their preparations for their tour of Asia have started well, with new signings making their debuts and young stars shining.
It was the latter in particular who stole the show as many of Liverpool’s young guns proved why they should be in the team, while also showing other clubs why they should be interested in signing them.
One academy player especially has plenty of clubs queuing up to sign him and after his performance on Sunday, even more teams have joined the line, with Nottingham Forest hoping to skip to the front.

Ben Doak has been a player highly-rated at Liverpool for quite some time now and after going out on loan to Middlesbrough last season, his progression has come on leaps and bounds.
He now looks ready for some regular minutes in the Premier League but looks unlikely to get this at Anfield, hence why the Reds are willing to sell.
And, according to The Express, Nottingham Forest are the latest team to show their interest and are keen to bring him to the City Ground this summer.

The report states that after Anthony Elanga’s big-money sale to Newcastle, in which Forest banked a minimum of £52m, they are keen to use the money and bring Doak in as a replacement.

They will face stiff competition for his signature, however, with the likes of Bournemouth, Crystal Palace and Everton making enquiries for the Scotsman earlier this summer.
The Express conclude by saying that Brentford also have long-standing interest, while PSV Eindhoven and clubs in Spain are also keeping close tabs on Doak’s situation.
Doak has been labelled a ‘generational talent’ in the past by Scotland fans and based on the reputation he has earned himself at Liverpool, it is no surprise to see so many clubs interested in his signature.
He was key in Liverpool’s third goal as well as he provided the assist after excellent play down the right, showing that he has an end product to match the talent.
If he stays put, he could get a chance to prove himself later into the season, but equally if he goes, he could become a key part of a solid Premier League team, while also providing the Reds with a big profit.
