‘Perfect’ manager is ‘eager’ to leave his club and replace Jurgen Klopp at Liverpool

One manager is now ‘eager’ to accept Liverpool’s offer for him to become the Reds’ next boss.

Jurgen Klopp‘s dreams of winning the quadruple in his last-ever season at Liverpool have been crushed over the last month.

The Reds suffered a defeat in the FA Cup against Manchester United last month and then crashed out of the Europa League against Atalanta this week.

Liverpool‘s full focus now will be on the Premier League, but work is going on behind the scenes over who should replace Klopp at the end of the season.

The Reds have been linked with plenty of names over the last three months, and there’s some good news about one of them coming their way now.

What Ruben Amorim wants to do now after Liverpool make contract offer

Ruben Amorim has been heavily linked with the Liverpool job for months now.

The 39-year-old is expected to be a wanted man this summer, and his stock is all set to go through the roof as he’s on the verge of winning the Portuguese League title for the second time.

Numerous reports have claimed that Amorim is the favourite to become the next Liverpool manager, but there is no confirmation just yet.

It has, however, been revealed that Liverpool have made a three-year contract offer to the Portuguese manager.

TeamTalk have now backed that claim and shared what they have found out from their sources about Amorim’s stance on the future.

The outlet has revealed that Amorim, who has been described as the ‘perfect‘ replacement for Klopp (Nigel Reo-Coker on CBS), is ‘eager to accept’ Liverpool’s proposal.

That is excellent news for fans of the Anfield club.

Ruben Amorim’s son could cost Liverpool the chance of appointing him

The links between Liverpool and Ruben Amorim are getting stronger and stronger every day.

All signs are pointing towards the 39-year-old replacing Jurgen Klopp at Liverpool this summer, but if Amorim’s son was to make the decision, this move will not happen.

The Sporting Lisbon boss was speaking about the Portuguese league title recently, and when he was asked if he’d rather lift the trophy or stay at the club beyond the end of this season, he gave an interesting answer.

“Both. Even my son asks me for both things, but the important thing is for Sporting to be champions. That’s what the fans want and that’s what we fight for,” he said.

Amorim’s son wants him to stay at Sporting, which is a bit of a worry for Liverpool fans, but there should still be a lot of optimism about seeing the 39-year-old at Anfield this summer.
