Arne Slot’s men have already been one of the busiest teams in the window, with Jeremie Frimpong being the first to confirm his Anfield switch.
Florian Wirtz’s Liverpool move also seems to be edging closer, with the transfer of the German being touted as one of the best moves of the window already.
Although both of these players are more than welcome additions, their arrivals alone won’t likely be enough to keep Liverpool competitive, especially with the number of moves their fellow title rivals seem to be looking to make.

So, in reality, it isn’t a surprise to see the rumour mill going into overdrive even though the window isn’t fully open yet.
One player who has been consistently linked with an Anfield switch this season is Bournemouth’s Milos Kerkez.
Both Kostas Tsimikas and Andy Robertson have failed to live up to the standards they’ve set themselves over the last couple of seasons and have made left-back one of the weakest areas in Slot’s team.
However, as per a new report from Fabrizio Romano, it feels like Kerkez’s Anfield switch is more or less complete.

“Bournemouth have agreed a deal to sign Adrien Truffert as new left back, here we go,” Romano wrote via his personal X account.
There was a point when it felt like Bournemouth could secure themselves a European place, but in the end, a top-half finish is what they were left with.
Still, with a fee of just £45million being the amount needed to prise Kerkez away from the Vitality, it feels like a no-brainer, especially since Robertson still has a year left on his Liverpool deal.
