The left-back has been one of the most talked-about players in the Premier League this summer, with Liverpool finally set to confirm his transfer.
David Ornstein has reported via The Athletic website that Liverpool are set to pay around £40million for the transfer of Kerkez this summer.
The transfer of the defender has been a long time coming, with most fans expecting it to have gone through before the first part of the summer transfer window closed.
However, seeing as though the Scotsman has now entered the final year of his deal with Liverpool, this summer will be the last time that they’ll get a decent fee for him.
No contract renewal is in sight, so if a deal isn’t agreed for his exit this summer, he’ll more than likely leave on a free transfer at the end of the 2025-26 campaign.
Tsimikas still has a couple of years left on his deal and has even admitted that he’s happy being a number two at Liverpool.
