It is set to be a Bank Holiday weekend of celebration in Liverpool as they finally watch their team lift the Premier League trophy.
The Reds have had to wait almost one month after securing the title in spectacular fashion against Tottenham in April.
Since then, the Liverpool squad have taken their foot off the gas and enjoyed a well-earned holiday or two as the trophy lift awaits.
With the day now almost finally here, preparations and plans are slowly being revealed.
On Thursday, there was some fantastic news, as it was confirmed that former Liverpool captain Alan Hansen will be the man who hands the Premier League trophy to Virgil van Dijk.
Hansen is set to be one of several Liverpool legends in attendance, with an answer also arriving over whether Jurgen Klopp is expected to return to Anfield for the first time since leaving last year.

Klopp confirmed he will be in Liverpool for the upcoming weekend back in March, and the German is booked in to attend the LFC Foundation Gal Ball on Friday evening.
However, it has so far not been officially confirmed that the legendary former Liverpool manager will definitely be at Anfield for the party on Sunday.

Liverpool supporters are desperate to see the man who led them to such success between 2015 and 2024, with the current crop of players largely being built by Klopp.
And although they again stop short of saying that the 57-year-old will definitely be in attendance, the Liverpool ECHO have provided a positive update on Klopp’s involvement on Sunday.

They claim that he is ‘expected to be present’ when Liverpool lift the Premier League trophy having received an invitation from the club.
Fellow managerial luminaries Sir Kenny Dalglish and Rafael Benitez are also reportedly set to be there to see the magic happen.
There won’t be a Liverpool supporter on the planet who is not hoping to see Klopp involved in some capacity on Sunday.
Being the man that he is, the former boss is unlikely to want too much of the limelight and will no doubt prefer to see Arne Slot and the Liverpool players hailed for their achievement.
However, there is no getting away from the fact that this is in part Klopp’s success as well.
Having left the club in a terrific place last year, he will forever deserve praise for making the job that much easier for the man who came next.
With Klopp also having been robbed of his moment to celebrate the Premier League win of 2020 in front of fans, it feels like Sunday could finally draw a line under that if he can be there.
