Aston Villa will not sell Morgan Rogers in the January window despite his poor form, sources have told Football Insider.
Rogers has struggled under Unai Emery so far this season, but fans will be confident he will get back to best sooner rather than later.
And despite the speculation, amplified by Rogers’ recent social media outburst, Villa are not planning for life without the England international.

Last season, Rogers was by far and away Aston Villa’s best player, scoring eight goals and picking up ten assists in the Premier League.
Rogers was heavily linked with the likes of Chelsea and Manchester City over the summer, but ended up staying with the Midlands giants.
There have been some suggestions that Villa should cash in on the 23-year-old in January, after his disappointing start to the season.
However, sources say that the club have no intention of letting him go mid-season, with Unai Emery desperate to keep him as well.

The England international was also prolific in Europe, with seven goal contributions in 12 games for Emery’s side as they reached the Champions League quarter finals.
So far in the 2025-26 campaign though, Rogers has been well off the pace for Villa, and supporters believe that he has been unsettled by the talk of a move over the summer.
His poor form is costing the Midlands side, who have scored just one Premier League goal this term, and sit in a lowly 18th place after five games.
Meanwhile, Emiliano Martinez will push to leave Aston Villa next summer if they continue to struggle, sources have told Football Insider.

Martinez was linked with Manchester United during the most recent transfer window, but the Red Devils eventually opted to sign Senne Lammens.
The Argentinian goalkeeper was left out of the Villa squad while the rumours of an exit were rife, but has now been reintroduced by Emery.
However, sources say that talk of an exit would likely reignite at the end of the season, if the Midlands giants fail to reach the Champions League.
