Richard Keys has aimed a dig at Newcastle United over the transfer sagas regarding Yoane Wissa and Alexander Isak.
Amid Liverpool’s continued desire to sign Isak, the Sweden striker’s absence from the Magpies’ opening Premier League fixture at Aston Villa disgruntled Newcastle supporters.
Meanwhile, Eddie Howe has set his sights on Brentford star Wissa as he looks to bolster his frontline despite Liverpool’s advances for his star man.
While Howe’s men want to sign the DR Congo international, Wissa took the unusual step of unfollowing Brentford on Instagram.

Newcastle’s frontline will be severely weakened if Isak, who notched 23 Premier League goals last season, joins Liverpool.
Meanwhile, Wissa proved his worth in Brentford colours by scoring 19 goals in the top flight last term.
As the future of both players currently remains unresolved, Keys shared a photo on X of a Telegraph article about the Bees striker’s social media activity amid the interest in his services from Newcastle.

Keys captioned the post: “Newcastle must be really unhappy about the way Liverpool have unsettled Isak.
It’s not right.”
The beIN SPORTS Senior Football Anchor’s message heavily infers that he believes the Magpies are being hypocritical.
Football Insider verdict
Wissa’s latest antics suggest that there is now no way back for him at Brentford, especially amid Howe’s advances for his services.

As they look to bolster their attacking options, Newcastle are interested in Wolves star Jorgen Strand Larsen.
However, the North East club’s desire to sign Strand Larsen should not mean that they opt out of signing Wissa, after the former Magpies striker joined West Ham.
Meanwhile, Brentford have already seen ex-boss Thomas Frank join Tottenham, whereas last season’s star men Bryan Mbeumo and Christian Norgaard have signed for Manchester United and Arsenal, respectively.
Losing so many key assets in one summer could be enough to drag the West Londoners into a Premier League relegation battle, having finished in the top half last term.
Keeping Wissa would have given new boss Keith Andrews a glimmer of hope, but his increasingly likely exit seems to point Brentford towards the Championship.
