Richard Keys speaking on beIN SPORTS
Richard Keys has branded Mikel Arteta “delusional” after the comments he made about Arsenal following their Champions League exit.
The Gunners’ hopes of silverware, and bid to win the Champions League for the first time, ended following their 3-1 aggregate defeat to Paris St Germain on Wednesday night.
After a frantic start, the Parisians took total control of the tie when Fabian Ruiz's strike gave the hosts a 2-0 lead on aggregate.
Achraf Hakimi then added a second just after the hour mark before Bukayo Saka reduced the arrears 14 minutes from time.
A clearly emotional Arteta then claimed after the game Arsenal have been the best team in the Champions League this season and did not deserve to lose their semi-final.

But reacting to the comments made by the former Everton captain, Keys claimed Arsenal haven’t been good enough this season and that is why they aren’t in the final.
Taking to X, the former Sky Sports presenter said: “One of Arteta’s many problems is he’s delusional.
The best teams are in the final.”
