Tottenham striker Richarlison shared an emotional message following the confirmed departure of a teammate from the club.
Richarlison endured a difficult campaign last season under Ange Postecoglou, struggling to secure a regular place in the starting XI amid recurring injuries and inconsistent form.
The Brazilian managed just four Premier League starts throughout the 2024/25 season, and with opportunities limited, speculation around his future has continued to grow.
Football Insider revealed last month that Richarlison is prepared to leave Tottenham this summer, with the club’s pursuit of attacking reinforcements threatening to push him further down the pecking order.
However, rather than address his own uncertain future, the 28-year-old turned his attention to a departing teammate, sharing a heartfelt message in response to their exit.

It was confirmed on 3 August that Heung-Min Son will leave Tottenham, with the forward personally announcing his decision during a press conference.

Richarlison posted a heartfelt farewell to his teammate, sharing a video montage of moments the pair shared over the years and writing that “it was an honour” to play alongside the South Korean star.

His tribute received reactions from fellow players, including Micky van de Ven, Dominic Solanke and Pedro Porro.
Son departs Spurs as a club legend, scoring 173 goals in 454 appearances.
He also helped end the club’s long-standing trophy drought by lifting the Europa League last season, which was his first major honour.
While an official announcement is yet to be made, it is widely expected that Son will join MLS side LAFC, with reports suggesting a fee has already been agreed.
This comes after Football Insider revealed that Tottenham were prepared to cash in on Son this summer, as new manager Thomas Frank begins to reshape the forward line.

While the Brazilian forward expressed his emotion over Son’s departure, he could soon follow his teammate out of the club.
Richarlison has been linked with a return to Palmeiras, particularly following their Club World Cup involvement and increased funds for a potential move.
Meanwhile, reports have suggested Everton have decided against signing Richarlison despite links about a potential return amid Dominic Calvert Lewin’s exit.
A return to Brazil remains a strong possibility for the striker, but whether Frank will sanction another forward’s exit following Son’s departure remains to be seen.
