Former Liverpool striker Roberto Firmino has officially signed for a new club.
The Anfield cult hero agreed to leave his former club Al Ahli by mutual consent at the end of last season.
The Brazilian moved to the Saudi Pro League club in the summer of 2023, after he departed from Liverpool.
He signed a three-year contract, in a move that marked a significant shift in his career, taking him from the Premier League spotlight to a league undergoing rapid transformation.
His transfer was part of a wave of high-profile moves to the Saudi Pro League, which has been aggressively investing in global football talent.
However, despite being the captain of Al Ahli and playing a key role in their intercontinental success last season, the 33-year-old was shockingly left out of the squad for domestic league matches in the second half of this season.
He has now officially joined a new club after leaving Al Ahli.
Earlier this month we revealed that the Brazilian has agreed a deal with Qatari side Al-Sadd.
The deal has now been officially announced with the Al-Sadd posting an announcement post on their Instagram.
