Fabrizio Romano has offered his take on the major claim that Liverpool are ‘close’ to signing Dutch midfielder Ryan Gravenberch from Bayern Munich. Liverpool are expected to enforce a squad rebuild this summer after their disappointing form this season under Jurgen Klopp. They are likely to strengthen in midfield, with a couple of signings expected to add more quality in that area of the pitch. Jude Bellingham is recognised as main target, but they are also being linked with the likes of Mason Mount and Matheus Nunes.
He joined Bayern last summer from Ajax for around £16m but he has only started once in the Bundesliga this term.
“This player is ours [Liverpool] amigo, Gravenberch,” Enrique said.
Bayern wanted to keep Ryan Gravenberch in January despite a lot of interest and nothing has changed at this stage, we will see in the summer.
