Chelsea stars have continued to respond to Nicolas Jackson’s latest updates after the striker joined Bayern Munich.

After Liam Delap suffered an injury, Jackson initially saw his loan move from Chelsea to Bayern cancelled.

The Senegal international had become surplus to requirements at Stamford Bridge after Enzo Maresca signed Delap and Joao Pedro.

While Jackson has left West London, Chelsea signed players like Alejandro Garnacho and Jorrel Hato in a busy summer transfer window.

As the Senegal star has now completed his move to Bayern, Maresca recalled fellow striker Marc Guiu from his loan at Sunderland.

Meanwhile, Jackson took to Instagram on Tuesday, 2 September, to share his excitement at moving to the German giants by sharing a series of photos captioned with red and white heart emojis.

Jackson regularly led the line for Chelsea last term, scoring 10 goals and producing five assists in 30 Premier League appearances for the West Londoners.

However, Maresca has opted to go down a different direction with the additions of Delap and Pedro, while the Brazilian has already established a rich vein of form.

Meanwhile, Jackson may have to wait before earning regular game time at Bayern Munich, thanks to the presence of England superstar Harry Kane.

Kane has already notched three goals and two assists in just two Bundesliga appearances this term, proving that he will remain above the Senegal man in Vincent Kompany’s pecking order.

As Bayern compete to retain their top-flight title, as well as battling to win the Champions League, strength in depth is vital for Kompany.

Jackson will receive game time when the Bayern boss decides to rotate his squad, particularly in competitions like the Champions League and the German Cup.
