Keane was equally complimentary of the Reds as he praised them for masking their difficulties, the majority of them defensively, with none of their opponents able to exploits their issues with Liverpool instead making sure they get the job done each time they play.
He said: "We talk about Liverpool’s problems in the last few games with their defending where they’ve given up chances, but you still have to beat them.
That’s what champions do and that’s what they’ve done."
