Roy Keane has slammed one Manchester United star for his attitude in the build up to Manchester City’s derby opener, as City ran riot in a 3-0 win.

Man City took the lead through a header from Phil who had the freedom of Manchester to head home before an Erling Haaland brace eased the hosts to victory.

United were looking to exact a 30-year low on Man City at the Etihad, with Ruben Amorim looking to better Guardiola again, but Haaland and Foden had other ideas, sinking their city rivals to their secind defeat of the season.

Amorim came into the game under increasing scrutiny after United’s start to the season, and that criticism will only build after another tepid performance.

Ex-Man United midfielder Roy Keane discussed the poor attitude of Luke Shaw in the build up to Foden’s opening goal, on Sky Sports.

It’s like he’s thrown the towel in.”

Man United have had positives to take from all four of their Premier League matches this season, but only one has yielded a win.

Even a win against Burnley looked in doubt before a last-gasp penalty gave United a chance to earn their first three points of the season.
