Ruben Amorim appears to be slowly but surely turning the ship before its impending sinking at Man United.
After five matches, the Red Devils are sitting 11th in the Premier League table, one point closer to the Champions League qualification spots than they are to the relegation zone.
That is certainly an improvement on last season’s form, and Premier League legend Matt Le Tissier exclusively told Football Insider that he believes Man United will give Amorim more time in charge.
Andoni Iraola, Oliver Glasner, and Marco Silva have been shortlisted in case the hierarchy plans to make a decision, but that would be extremely short-sighted and, in the end, deeply regretted.

Man United signed Bryan Mbeumo from Brentford, who was also joined by Matheus Cunha and Benjamin Sesko before the transfer window closed, and these players need time to gel.
However, despite United sitting in the bottom half of the league table, the underlying stats would suggest that the Red Devils are just one moment away from everything clicking for them.
In the Premier League so far, United have created the highest expected goals (xG) of any team, rising above the likes of Pep Guardiola‘s Man City and Chelsea, whom they beat recently.

They have also unleashed the most shots, and after spending a significant amount of money on forwards, this is exactly what supporters were expecting to see.
It’s all about the end product now.
Following his £74million move to Old Trafford [BBC Sport], there has been a lot of debate around the signing of Sesko, especially after he failed to start any of United’s first three league matches.
So far, the former RB Leipzig man has only created an xG of 0.18 [FotMob], yet to hit the back of the net, while those around him continue to create, with Casemiro the latest to take up scoring positions.
Mbeumo has an expected assists (xA) of 1.3, while Fernandes has recorded a 1.0xG [FotMob], but neither has notched their first assist of the season just yet, and that is where Sesko should come in.
The Slovenian international recorded 18 and 21 goals in back-to-back seasons in Germany.
If Amorim can unlock the same talent in England, United should have no problem converting their chances and rising up the table.
Impending doom on his future at Old Trafford could quickly change to success if the chances created transform into goals.
