Ruben Amorim has refused to accept responsibility for anything that has gone wrong during his short but eventful tenure at Man United.
Amorim was showing positive signs at Man United after beating Chelsea at Old Trafford, but the players were certainly helped out by playing against 10 men for most of the first half.
The Red Devils are back to losing ways once again, and hardly to the surprise of many rival fans, which puts Amorim under even more pressure at Man United after just 11 months in charge.
He has won just 19 of his 49 matches in charge since replacing Erik ten Hag in November, with games including defeat in the Europa League final and being knocked out of the Carabao Cup by Grimsby.
Sir Jim Ratcliffe has been left with a decision to make, and United supporters are out for blood.

Football Insider understands that Man United would need to pay £12million in compensation to sack Amorim, and that is likely to be the reason that the trigger has not been pulled at Old Trafford.
However, with the Red Devils staring down the barrel of yet another embarrassing defeat, there is only so much the hierarchy can continue to ignore the noises around the stadium.

If Amorim is to be relieved of his duties, the manager is likely to continue his current trend of passing the buck of responsibility, especially after Bruno Fernandes missed his penalty against Brentford.
Demonstrated here by Football Insider‘s new statistics partner Opta, Fernandes’ 81 touches were in very disappointing areas, only adding to the missed spot-kick after 76 minutes.
The club captain wears his heart on his sleeve, often being sanctioned for it by referees, but a lack of passion is not something that supporters can criticise him for.
Despite this, Paul Scholes has previously been critical of Fernandes’ inability to shut off his emotions in bigger games, and those comments have come back to haunt United at the Gtech Community Stadium [Metro].
The playmaker missed his effort from the penalty spot, which he also did against Fulham last month, and he failed to step up at the right moment to save Amorim from further pressure.
Of course, it was a total team effort, one not helped at all by the manager refusing to adapt his tactics to the current squad, but there is no doubt that an equaliser with 15 minutes remaining would have made a huge difference.
Losing to the Bees could now be the final straw for the former Sporting CP figure, and if it is all to end after the defeat, Amorim will undoubtedly be pointing the finger at his captain.
