Euro 2020 will provide a first look at the new handball rule that will be integrated into football ahead of next season and impact Liverpool and Everton.

As well as the new handball, "clear evidence" will now be needed to ensure a goal is ruled offside.

"We want clear evidence to disallow goals - that's it.

The tournament, which kicks off on June 11, will see the introduction of players no longer being penalised for an accidental handball in the build-up to a goal.

VAR was a regular talking point after each Premier League weekend with the handball rule seemingly interpreted differently week-by-week.

He's right, "We cannot disallow the goal for offside if we have no evidence it is offside.

However the new law now states a hand ball is: deliberately touches the ball with their hand/arm, for example moving the hand/arm towards the ball; touches the ball with their hand/arm when it has made their body unnaturally bigger.
