The Liverpool FC, Tranmere and Republic of Ireland great, Aldo's lively and opinionated weekly column on LFC is a must read for all Reds fans.
What a player Ryan Gravenberch is right now for Liverpool.
The midfielder has been excellent since day one of Arne Slot's time really but he has started this season in particularly sparkling form, showcasing all the ability that everyone has always known he had.
He took his goal so well against Everton, hooking home a great pass from Mohamed Salah before he played in Hugo Ekitike with a great pass for the second.
It was a perfect afternoon for the Netherlands star and his performance showed just why he is so valued at Liverpool now.
When he emerged at Ajax, Gravenberch was being spoken about as the next great hope of Dutch football and it was easy to see why if you saw what he was able to do during his teenage years.
That was the reason Bayern Munich made their move and the fact that it didn't work out for him at the biggest club in Germany clearly knocked his confidence for six.
At Liverpool, he has been able to regain that and what we have seen over the last 12 months has been remarkable really, he is developing into one of the very best around in that position.
His talent is growing and blossoming like a flower and while he is such a joy to watch, there are one or two things he can work on on the defensive side of things to become one of the very best players in the world.
He has all the ability and talent you would want and by studying the great defensive midfielders he can even go up a level in the future, which is a mouthwatering prospect, isn't it?
I think if Gravenberch is able to take a closer look at the videos of Graeme Souness and Didi Hamann then he can learn the art of defending as a midfielder because it doesn't matter what age or how good you are, there are always things to be picked up, even by the very best.

Souness was one of the greatest this club have ever had and Hamann was a brilliant midfielder during his time, winning a lot of trophies himself in the early part of the 2000s.
He has all the tools he could ever want, that is for sure.
Kevin Keegan used to say he was always learning and I remember being 37 or 38 and I was still picking up things as I went.
You work on your strengths and get better from there and Gravenberch can definitely do that to become one of the very best, he is that good.
His touch is superb and the technique and ability to avoid being pressed are both magnificent to watch but learning the defensive side more can see him truly become one of the greats of the game.
