When Ryan Gravenberch trudged off the Anfield pitch after Liverpool’s final home game of the 2023-24 season, few could have predicted the Dutch midfielder would become the beating heart of their Premier League triumph just twelve months later.
The 22-year-old has completed a dramatic career resurrection, starting all 34 league matches it took for Liverpool to clinch the title– a transformation that seemed inconceivable during his underwhelming debut season under Jürgen Klopp.
At 22, Gravenberch now stands as both a Premier League champion and the embodiment of Liverpool’s successful transition post-Klopp.
His 3,846 minutes across all competitions – more than double last season’s total – reflect not just improved fitness, but a manager’s unwavering trust.
And now his year has just gotten a whole lot better.

Gravenberch and Perotti have maintained a private yet enduring relationship since their adolescence in Amsterdam.
The couple met during their high school years in the Amsterdam-Zuidoost district, where they grew up a few streets apart.
Their relationship began around 2017, coinciding with Gravenberch’s emergence in Ajax’s youth academy.
Peroti pursued vocational training in healthcare, graduating as a certified nurse from ROC Amsterdam with a focus on rehabilitation care.
However, her professional career is mostly under wraps, so we don’t know too much on what she gets up to in her own career.
She has followed Gravenberch’s transfers to Bayern Munich (2022) and Liverpool (2023).
Andy Robertson commented “JIRO”with a heart emoji while Virgil van Dijk also commented with a heart emoji.
Meanwhile, Jeremie Frimpong commented: “Ryan laaaaaa?
