Liverpool star Ryan Gravenberch has been pictured with reported Reds transfer target Jorrel Hato.

The Ajax defender has emerged as a candidate for a summer move after an impressive season in the Eredivisie for the 19-year-old.

Gravenberch is currently enjoying downtime after the Reds were officially crowned Premier League champions last Sunday.

Hato, meanwhile, is with Holland's under-21s ahead of their European Championships campaign which kicks off on June 11.

Liverpool have been one of the many clubs linked with the Ajax starlet after establishing himself as one of the highest-rated prospects.

Despite turning 20 in March, Hato already amassed has over a century of appearances for the Amsterdam club as well as six caps for the Dutch national team.

As the pair gear up for their respective journeys with the national team squads, they were all smiles as they were pictured together.

Hato visited Anfield earlier this season after an invitation from Gravenberch, but his Merseyside visit came during speculation surrounding his future in the Eredivisie and subsequent links with Liverpool.

The Ajax defender was spotted at the Premier League clash against Ipswich Town in January.

Dutch outlet De Telegraaf explained that he was simply visiting his friend Ryan Gravenberch, having been invited by the Liverpool man.

It is claimed that the Reds are one of two teams, alongside Real Madrid, who are following Hato’s progress closely.

And the trip to England came during the Eredivisie's winter break which fell during the January transfer window.

The report at the time claimed that Ajax were determined to keep the defender, who is under contract until 2028.

"I read it all," Hato said regarding the transfer rumours.

I was invited by Ryan Gravenberch.
