Wrexham is on the brink of signing ex-Liverpool goalkeeper Danny Ward.

The Wales international is expected to become their second-choice goalkeeper behind Arthur Okonkwo, as they prepare for a promotion into the Championship next season.

Whether Phil Parkinson's team can achieve four promotions in a row is yet to be seen, but Wrexham seem intent on making an impact in the second tier.

The Mail report also suggests that Ward might not be the only player with Liverpool connections being monitored by Wrexham this summer

The piece further mentions that 22 year old left-back Owen Beck is on the club's radar, following his impressive loan spell at Blackburn Rovers last season.
