Celtic fans are venting their frustrations at manager Brendan Rodgers and the board after their humiliating defeat to Kazakhstan side Kairat Almaty in the Champions League.
After a goalless 90 minutes, the match was determined by a penalty shootout where Adam Idah, Luke McCowan and Daizen Maeda missed their spot kicks to pave the way for Kairat Almaty to progress.
Brendan Rodgers could leave Celtic.
Following the match, Celtic fans took to X to vent their anger at a “disgrace” of a performance with one supporter calling for Idah, Yang and Liam Scales to be sacked alongside Rodgers and the board.
Celtic reached the knockout stages of the Champions League last season when they narrowly lost to Bundesliga champions Bayern Munich, but the Hoops will now drop down to the Europa League for this campaign.
After progress in the competition last season, fans were expecting Celtic to spend in the transfer market to try and go one better.

Instead Nicolas Kuhn departed to Como, and following Kyogo’s exit in January, Celtic have yet to replace two key sources of goals.
Celtic were expected to progress against Kairat Almaty, but Rodgers’ side could not score a goal in over 200 minutes of football.
After missing out on Champions League football, being able to recruit top targets will now become tougher for Rodgers.
The Celtic board have kept their powder dry so far this summer, though the noise will only increase from supporters, and Rodgers, for investment to be made.
A Glasgow derby against Rangers next is probably not the match Celtic want after an embarrassing Champions League exit and a trip to Ibrox could again show the shortfalls in Rodgers’ squad.
