West Ham fans have vented their frustration about Jarrod Bowen after an underwhelming night for Thomas Tuchel’s England team.
Elliot Anderson was trusted with his England debut, having been called up to the squad due to his form at Nottingham Forest.
So far, the head coach has stuck to his mantra of picking players on form.
With 13 goals and eight assists in the Premier League last season, Bowen has rightly earned his recall to the squad, with the hope of winning his 17th cap for the Three Lions.
Despite a 2-0 win over Andorra at Villa Park on Saturday, 6 September, the likes of Reece James and Noni Madueke were disappointed by the performance, and Tuchel likely was too.

On his debut, Anderson put in a Man of the Match performance, shaping up alongside Declan Rice in the middle of the park, allowing the attacking players to roam freely.
However, Bowen was not given that opportunity despite all five substitutions being made, with the 28-year-old winger being snubbed yet again despite being in form for the Hammers.
Eberechi Eze sealed a dream move back to Arsenal, so it was no surprise to see him in the starting lineup, but with Marcus Rashford failing to adapt at Barcelona, he must have felt hard done by.

And unsurprisingly, fans back at the London Stadium have not taken well to their player’s international snub, seeing him sulking back on the England bench despite being one of the most in-form wingers in the squad.
One supporter was quick to call Tuchel a “massive fraud” for not involving the Europa Conference League winner in the game, especially given the winger’s ability to play through the middle when called upon.
Another fan questioned why “England managers hate Bowen”, with the 28-year-old also struggling for game time under Gareth Southgate, and sometimes not even being picked for the squad.
The Three Lions sealed all three points at Villa Park, so Tuchel will feel that his decision was vindicated, but with fans frustrated by a lack of action, there is no doubt that leaving Bowen on the bench was just wrong.
