Liverpool fans’ dreams are set to come true next Sunday as they watch their team lift the Premier League trophy.
Reds supporters have waited 35 long years to see an English league title won at Anfield and they’re going to celebrate it long into the summer.
Having wrapped up the division three weeks ago, it has been a slightly agonising wait for fans to see Virgil van Dijk get his hands on the trophy.
But with just two games now left to play, the date is getting nearer and nearer.
Crystal Palace will be the opponents on May 25th and after the south Londoners won the FA Cup for the first time on Saturday, it is set to be a party atmosphere for just about everyone inside Anfield.
For Liverpool, there will likely be some storied names of the past in attendance.
Jurgen Klopp has been invited to attend and is expected to do so, while former vice-captain Daniel Agger has also now claimed that he will be there.

Agger may not have been the most decorated player in Liverpool history, but it cannot be denied just how much the Dane loves the Reds.
From having YNWA tattooed on his knuckles to clattering Fernando Torres following his controversial move to Chelsea, Agger simply ‘got it.’

The 40-year-old is also a former vice-captain, having come so close to aiding Steven Gerrard in Liverpool’s push for the Premier League in 2013/14.
Agger left Liverpool the following summer but has remained involved with the club ever since.
Most recently, the former centre-back opened LFC’s first ever flagship retail store in Denmark.

And speaking to Tipsbladet during the opening of the Copenhagen store, Agger admitted that he plans to be at Anfield to watch the game against Palace next weekend.
“I just have to go over and feel the atmosphere, be in the stadium and see them lift the trophy,” he said.
Agger is the most recent Danish player to have featured for Liverpool and is currently assistant manager of the national team.
During his chat with Tipsbladet at the opening of the new Danish store, Agger admitted that he is hoping to see another of his countrymen represent the Reds in the near future.
“It’s hard to predict but it’s been a long time coming,” he said.
“It would be nice to get someone there, but of course it requires some quality and quality for the position where there is a need.”
Liverpool have been linked with Morten Frendrup of Genoa, who could provide competition in the Reds midfield should he arrive this summer.
With nothing close to being firmed up, though, Agger looks likely to remain the last Dane at Liverpool for a little while at least.
