Shaun Wright-Phillips has backed Manchester City to win the Premier league title this season ahead of current leaders Chelsea.

City currently find themselves in second place in the table on 26 points from their opening 12 games.

Thomas Tuchel's Chelsea side lead the way in the top flight table, having lost just one of their opening 12 matches and conceding a league-low of four goals so far this term.

Despite their early season domination, former Premier League midfielder Wright-Phillips thinks that City's experience of title run ins will help them prevail, while also naming Liverpool and West Ham United as the other top clubs who will finish in the top four this term.

'For me, if City do get a striker they'd most probably run away with the league I think,' he told

'So I'm going to go City, Chelsea, Liverpool and do you know what I'm going to go for an outsider, I'm going to say West Ham might just sneak in.
