Sheffield United owners COH Sports may be facing an uphill battle to win over the Bramall Lane faithful.
After the consortium led by Steve Rosen and Helmy Eltoukhy bought the South Yorkshire club last December, Sheffield United lost last season’s Championship playoff final to Sunderland.
Meanwhile, the Blades were hammered 4-1 by Bristol City on Saturday, 9 August in Ruben Selles’ first game in charge.
Several Sheffield United supporters were angry when Chris Wilder was sacked, and Selles faces a big ask to win them over.

Amid their efforts to seal a Premier League return, Sheffield United have signed Louie Barry on loan from Aston Villa.
Meanwhile, as reported by the Sheffield Star, Jefferson Caceres could leave South Yorkshire in favour of Dunfermline.
The 22-year-old is yet to make an appearance for the Blades since joining from the Peruvian league in the winter transfer window, amid the data-driven recruitment led by COH Sports.
