Liverpool have already made their first moves of the summer transfer window before the market has even officially opened.
Jeremie Frimpong was on Merseyside on Monday for a medical as the Bayer Leverkusen defender closes in on a £30m move to Liverpool, with the Reds also starting work on signing Milos Kerkez after a breakout season at AFC Bournemouth.
As well as signings, players are expected to leave Anfield over the off-season, with Federico Chiesa likely to leave Liverpool having failed to make much of an impact for the Reds just one year after joining from Juventus.
And another Liverpool player is now attracting interest from both the Premier League and the Bundesliga.

According to Sky Germany journalist Florian Plettenberg, clubs are ‘showing interest’ in signing Jarell Quansah, who Liverpool could be convinced to sell this summer if a suitable offer were to be made for the England international.
Plettenburg wrote: “Understand several Bundesliga clubs and teams from England are showing interest in Jarell Quansah!
A sale of the 22-year-old centre-back this summer is not ruled out”
Newcastle United are one side who have been linked with Quansah in recent weeks as Liverpool continue to weigh up whether or not the academy graduate should leave for good this summer amid building interest.

And with teams from Germany now in the mix for Quansah, there’s a real chance that the Liverpool defender could be on a move if a convincing enough offer comes in for the centre-back, especially with the Reds in need of raising some funds over the window.
With Quansah once being hailed as ‘outstanding’ by Jurgen Klopp, there’s an obvious reason why clubs are interested in signing the young defender, even if his performances this season haven’t exactly set the world alight.
And with Liverpool interested in signing Jorrel Hato, finding a suitor for Quansah could help the Reds fund a move for the Ajax wonderkid, who could be a better fit for Arne Slot’s squad going into the new season.
Indeed, Premier League and Bundesliga interest will help Liverpool get as much value as possible out of selling Quansah, and the defender himself could be keen on a new challenge away from Anfield if a tempting enough offer were to be made.
