Simon Jordan has no sympathy for Raheem Sterling amid an uncertain Chelsea future with his contract up-in-the-air.
An outcast with the Blues, Sterling shared a photo of his Chelsea training in exile which highlighted his separation from the main team.
Sources have told Football Insider on 9 September that both Sterling and Axel Disasi will stay at Chelsea until January after the pair were not signed during the summer transfer window.
Yet, the Englishman may be able to leave the club sooner than expected as Sterling could terminate his contract at Chelsea thanks to the Professional Footballers’ Association (PFA) rule on “abusive conduct”.
However, former Crystal Palace chairman Jordan feels little compassion for the ex-Man City winger after claiming the 30-year-old can only blame himself.

Speaking about the fall from grace of the number 30 on talkSPORT (17 September), the ex-Palace chairman feels little sympathy for the exile Sterling is currently in.
Jordan strongly believed that the former Liverpool breakout star had the chance to revive his career at Arsenal but missed out on the opportunity, saying: “Sterling went out and had an opportunity to create a new narrative about himself.

“Done nothing particularly for Chelsea to justify the £48 million transfer fee they paid for him.
Nothing to justify the £300,000 a week he’s on at Chelsea besides the history of his performances somewhere else and so now he has a choice Sterling.
“He can compromise himself out of a contract and be prepared to accept less money.
He didn’t do them at Chelsea prior to the manager arriving.
The manager made his position entirely clear, which is entirely fair for him to do.”
Put simply, the Englishman has to find a suitable club in the January transfer window to have any chance of saving his dwindling football career.
Once the sensation and darling at Anfield and a reputable goalscorer at City, the 30-year-old had the world at his feet.
The move to Stamford Bridge has been doomed from the beginning with just 14 Premier League goals across two seasons in west London.

Moreover, the winger has been absent for an awfully long time from the England set-up and will be dying to get on the plane to the 2026 World Cup.
Thomas Tuchel has not considered Sterling yet and for good reason but, similar to Jack Grealish at Everton, the former Gunner could make a late push for the national team if he can land a move for the second half of the season.
A wage decrease could facilitate a transfer to another Premier League club and possibly see him as a late addition for the Three Lions’ next global tournament.
