Many still expect the Sweden international to become a Liverpool player by the end of the summer transfer window, but since the Reds haven’t made another bid just yet, it’s unclear whether that will happen.
If Liverpool did end up acquiring Isak’s services this summer, they’d be impossible to stop.

Of course, the likes of Ekitike, Florian Wirtz and Harvey Elliott can all be used on the flanks if needed, but each of them are much more effective in their natural positions.
With this in mind, if Liverpool don’t want to fork out the £150million needed for Isak, they need to turn their attention elsewhere as soon as possible; otherwise, they’re just one or two injuries away from a major crisis.
