Simon Jordan has urged 49ers enterprises to stick with Russell Martin in the midst of discussions around the 39-year-old’s future.
Rangers lost 2-0 to Hearts on Saturday, with a Lawrence Shankland double heaping more pressure on Martin.
Martin received the support of Derek McIness in his post-match interview, as the Rangers boss finds himself at risk of being sacked at Ibrox.
Rangers fans booed Martin’s side off the pitch as Ibrox grew more and more toxic throughout Saturday’s match against Hearts.

Martin’s side now sit 10th in the table, nine points adrift of Old Firm rivals Celtic, just five games into the Scottish Premiership season.
Simon Jordan went on a passionate rant on talkSPORT, discussing Martin’s future at Rangers, saying: “They’ve not given the guy a chance, I don’t know if the football is good enough, but I feel for him.
“He was the architect of his own downfall last year [at Southampton], but I hope they stick by him and give him some latitude because I know I know it’s their league and they can’t have one game that goes wrong over there but pack it in.

“I hope that they do [reject fan sentiment] because it should not be fans that choose football managers, it should be those that are basing decisions of all their views and planning for the long term, and understanding why they employed him in the first place.
“There’s no understanding of why they signed Russell Martin because he said himself the fans didn’t want me here in the first place.
“Unless he’s a complete bait switch merchant, they should have the strength of character to believe in what they saw from him and give him enough time to turn it around.”
Rangers’ four points from their opening five games is a 47-year low for the Glasgow side, who are screaming out for a change of fortunes.
Martin’s only domestic win came against Alloa Athletic in the first round of the Scottish League Cup, with a humiliating 9-1 aggregate defeat to Club Brugge in the Champions League, the largest black mark on the head coach’s record so far.
