Sir Kenny Dalglish has given his seal of approval following the announcement that Mohamed Salah has signed a new long-term deal to stay at Liverpool.

Reacting to the news on Twitter Dalglish wrote: "Fantastic news about @MoSalah.
But he will need another 190 before his Anfield career eventually ends if he is to match Ian Rush's all time total of 346.
The 30-year-old Egyptian has ended months of speculation by committing his future to the club and legendary Kop hero King Kenny has hailed the new deal as the 'best signing of the summer'.

The praise for Salah could not come from a higher source than Dalglish, who won three Europeans Cups and eight league titles with Liverpool as a player and manager and is regarded as one of the greatest figures in the club's history.
