Liverpool could potentially sign Tyler Dibling for cheaper, according to the latest reports from Sky Germany.

That the Reds will have a busy summer transfer window is no longer news.



Several sources, directly related to Liverpool and reliable journalists, have confirmed the news of a busy summer.

Virgil van Dijk, who is expected to sign a new contract at Liverpool soon, recently hinted that the club’s ambition in the next transfer market is part of the reason he is renewing.

“I think they’re planning to make it a big summer, so we all have to trust the board as a Liverpool-connected fan to do the right job,” the Dutchman said as quoted by Lewis Steele.

“And hopefully the club will be challenging for titles for the next two seasons as well.”

“I think we 100% can improve.

I think we shouldn’t forget the quality that the Premier League possesses, especially this season in my opinion,” he explained.

“It’s incredible how everyone can beat everyone.”

One player who has previously been linked with a possible move to Liverpool is Tyler Dibling.

The highly-rated youngster is one of the most sought-after young players in the Premier League this season.

Despite playing in a struggling Southampton team, the attacker has been one of the few positives in an otherwise disastrous season.

His performances have stood out, even when his club has failed to deliver.

The Daily Mail named Slot’s side as one of 14 sides that have “inquired about the gifted 19-year-old winger.”

It is claimed that Liverpool scouts recently watched him play for England Under-19s against Wales.

Last month, a report claimed that Southampton had placed a £100 million price tag on him in a bid to discourage Liverpool and a host of other clubs.

However, Sky Germany’s Florain Plettenberg has addressed that £100 million figure as wide off the mark, revealing that his transfer fee is going to be significantly lower.

But, it appears that Bundesliga duo Bayern Munich and RB Leipzig are ahead in the race for the 19-year-old, with Plettenberg reporting that Dibling is open to moving to Germany.

“A move for Tyler Dibling is planned for the end of the season following Southampton’s relegation,” Plettenberg revealed on X.

“FC Bayern and RB Leipzig remain interested, with Leipzig currently ahead in the race?

Dibling is open to a move to the Bundesliga.

“The transfer fee is expected to be significantly lower than reported – figures around €70–80m are wide of the mark.

“Tottenham are also keen, but are currently considered outsiders in the race for the 19y/o.”
