Sky Sports have made a major decision regarding Liverpool's Premier League curtain raiser against Bournemouth as Arne Slot has learned the path to their title defence.
The top-flight champions kick off their campaign against the Cherries on Friday, August 15 with the Reds beginning their quest to retain the crown a day earlier than their rivals.
Manchester City and Arsenal both get their journeys underway on August 16 and 17 when they travel to Wolves and Manchester United, respectively.
The broadcaster will show a whopping 80 per cent of Premier League matches for the forthcoming season.
TNT Sports is also sharing the coverage, but Sky Sports' rights deal will see them show evening matches on Fridays, Mondays and full coverage of three midweek match rounds.

Slot's side, which looks set to feature Jeremie Frimpong, Florian Wirtz and Milos Kerkez, faces a difficult challenge to begin the season as they take on Newcastle United, Arsenal and Everton in their first five matches.
On Wednesday, the Premier League fixtures were released and threw up a possible immediate reunion with AFC Bournemouth for Hungarian left-back Kerkez, as talks are ongoing about a summer switch to Anfield from the Cherries.
For the first time since the opening day fixtures returned to Friday nights in 2021, Liverpool will be the curtain raiser for the Premier League when Andoni Iraola's side visit Anfield.

Brentford's Premier League bow was televised in the first Friday slot in August 2021 when Thomas Frank's side brushed aside Arsenal in a 2-0 win.
The Gunners were handed the opportunity to redeem themselves 12 months later and did so, beating Crystal Palace by the same scoreline.
