West Ham United sit bottom of the Premier League after a disastrous start to the Premier League season has seen the score one goal and concede eight.
Graham Potter has faced increasing pressure at the London Stadium with the Hammers looking to shake off some poor early season form.
Potter’s side fell to a 3-0 opening day loss away at newly promoted Sunderland before falling flat despite a quick start, losing 5-1 at home to Chelsea on Friday.
After their poor early season form one pundit has weighed in on the building pressure that Potter is facing in East London.

It has been a slow start from Potter’s Hammers and as a result the West Ham fanbase are getting understandably frustrated with their side.
Simon Jordan, however, has defended Potter on talkSPORT despite also admitting they’ve had a poor start: “Well they’re not very good at the moment, they haven’t started the season in any way, shape, or form as anyone would have hoped.
“They went up to Sunderland on a bright sunny day, and gave Sunderland an opportunity to smash them 3-0 […] and West Ham were pretty dreadful in that game, and they’ve just been slaughtered by Chelsea, he continued.

“So the narrative has been that they haven’t won football matches, you can dress it however you want […] and you look at this and say it’s difficult to see what Potter is doing, I don’t think he’s been helped, how has he been helped?
“He’s not been given a lot of support economically in the acquisition of good players, he’s had to sell other players, so he’s not in great shape.”

Potter would be the first one to admit that his side have made a poor start to their season, but not all the fault is at the door of the 50-year-old.
Mads Hermansen was poor in the 3-0 loss to Sunderland, while a collectively poor performance sank them against Chelsea.

Not to mention that the club lost on of their best assets in Mohammed Kudus and have failed to replace the Ghanaian, while leaving Jarrod Bowen with no help.
If West Ham want Potter to succeed they need to back the Englishman in the final week of the transfer window and bolster his squad, otherwise a relegation looms.
