Monday's deadline day then saw the club bring to an end one of the transfer sagas of the summer with the £125m signing of Alexander Isak from Newcastle United.
The Reds didn't have it all their own way on deadline day, however, with Crystal Palace pulling the plug on a £35m deal for Liverpool to sign their captain, Marc Guehi, at the 11th hour.
Nevertheless, there's plenty for fans to be excited about with Arne Slot's side making the best possible start to the campaign and a record-breaking summer.
