Son Heung-min undoubtedly departs Tottenham as a greater legend than Harry Kane despite the general consensus deeming the Englishman to be superior.

After spending a decade in north London the Korean leaves as an icon of the club and he will be sorely missed.

The 33-year-old is jetting off to the MLS to play for LAFC in what is being described as a record-breaking deal for the American top-flight.

During his stellar spell for the Lilywhites, the former Bayer Leverkusen man played 454 games, sitting a remarkable seventh for all-time appearances.

The forward also racked up the goals, scoring 173 times which places him fifth for the club’s all-time top goal scorers, highlighting his crucial involvement in matches over the years.

Yet, despite his unwavering loyalty and leading Spurs to their first trophy in 17-years, many fans and pundits somehow still believe Kane is a greater legend than the Korean.

Indeed, it is imperative to highlight the vital importance of England’s all-time top goal scorer for Tottenham.

Even when confronted with niggling injuries due to an ageing body, the Korean found a way to rally the troops to end the trophy drought.

This is something Kane never achieved.

Regrettably the striker was forced to leave to find success elsewhere, but he took the north London side as far as he could.
