West Ham United will not be short of managerial applicants if they decide to sack Graham Potter, sources have told Football Insider.

Potter is coming under increasing pressure at West Ham, following the East London’s side poor start to the Premier League season.

The Hammers sit 18th in the table, with just three points from their first four games, and are coming off the back of a 3-0 defeat to rivals Tottenham last Saturday (13 September).

Sources say that if West Ham decide to part ways with Potter, then they will have a lot of takers for the manager’s job, as they are still a very attractive prospect.

Despite the fact that West Ham are currently sticking with Potter, they have already been linked with a number of replacements.

Kieran McKenna has been spotted in the boardroom at the London Stadium, sparking rumours that he could be on the Hammers’ shortlist.

Multiple Premier League title winner Jose Mourinho is also reportedly interested in the West Ham job, after the Portuguese manager was sacked by Fenerbahce.

His fellow countryman Nuno Espirito Santo is another name in contention, following his dismissal from Nottingham Forest.

The abundance of options could persuade the East London side to sack Potter earlier than they would do otherwise.

Meanwhile, West Ham United and Everton are both likely to reignite their interest in Yves Bissouma when the transfer window reopens, sources have told Football Insider.

Bissouma has been frozen out at Tottenham following the appointment of Thomas Frank over the summer

The Mali international had the chance to move to Turkish giants Galatasaray, but rejected the switch, as he wants to remain in the Premier League.

Sources say that West Ham and Everton could both be in the race for the 29-year-old in January, as he now seems certain to complete a move away from North London.
