Tottenham’s negotiations with Manchester City over a move for Savinho are progressing quickly, sources have told Football Insider.
The two Premier League sides are in discussions over a potential deal, with Spurs reportedly offering £43million for the winger.
Sources say that Man City are reluctant to sell Savinho, who only joined the club 12 months ago, but won’t stand in his way if he wants to make the move to North London.
Last season, the 21-year-old started 33 games in all competitions for Pep Guardiola’s side, scoring three goals and picking up 13 assists.

Tottenham are in the market for an attacking midfielder, after James Maddison suffered an anterior cruciate ligament tear in pre-season.
The 28-year-old is now expected to be out for a prolonged period of time, with a return not likely until the latter stages of the 2025/26 campaign.
Sources say that Tottenham are completely focused on bringing Savinho to the club as Maddison’s replacement, with the Brazilian able to play as an advanced midfielder, despite being a natural winger.
