Wolves’ former sporting director, who signed a host of big names for the club, has started a new role at another Premier League club today.
Wolves are set to extend Vitor Pereira’s contract, but they will do so under a new sporting director, after the former holder of that position has joined a new Premier League club.
The Midlands club have had a poor start to the Premier League season, sitting bottom of the table with no points from their first four games.

Alex Crook of talkSPORT has today revealed that Wolves’ former sporting director Matt Hobbs will begin a job in the same role at Crystal Palace.
Left Wolves in the summer after 10 years after overseeing the signings of the likes of João Gomes, Andre and Matheus Cunha.”

Hobbs will combine with Crystal Palace’s summer signing Christantus Uche, who joined the club on loan from Getafe.
