Manchester City wouldn’t have been planning to sell Ederson and Savinho in the final days of the transfer window.
Recruitment expert Mick Brown told Football Insider Man City were ready to accept an offer for Ederson following interest from Fenerbahce and Galatasaray in recent weeks.
The Brazil international hasn’t featured for Pep Guardiola’s side this season despite being named on the bench for the defeats against Tottenham and Brighton.
Ederson now looks set for an exit after Fenerbahce have agreed a deal worth in the region of £12million for his services.
Meanwhile, Gianluigi Donnarumma is waiting to join Man City after Ederson completes his switch to Turkey.

However, Man City have made it clear the 21-year-old will not be leaving this summer despite not being named in any of their squads at the start of the new campaign.
Speaking exclusively to Football Insider, Borson said: “Apparently, Savinho was not completely fit.
“I think the players have historically not been told to stay when they’ve said they wanted to leave, so I can only assume it’s a slightly different situation from what happened with Alvarez last season to Atletico.
“I mean, surely in City’s plan for this summer they would not have wanted to have been scrambling around dealing with situations like Savinho and Ederson in the final days of the window.
That is never the plan.
“But it seems to me this season almost every club seems to be in that situation.”
