Nottingham Forest owner Evangelos Marinakis is a “risk taker” after deciding to sack Nuno Espirito Santo.
Football Insider revealed on 29 August Nuno and Marinakis were set for crunch talks about the manager’s future at the City Ground.
Ange Postecoglou has been appointed as Nuno’s replacement, just months after being relieved of his duties at Tottenham.
Former Man City financial adviser Stefan Borson exclusively told Football Insider Marinakis is an “aggressive businessman” after making the managerial change at the City Ground.

Nuno helped Forest qualify for the Europa League last season after finishing seventh in the Premier League table.
Meanwhile, Postecoglou lost his first game in charge of the club 3-0 against Arsenal on Saturday (13 September).

Speaking exclusively to Football Insider, Borson said: “Well, you have to remember Marinakis is a risk taker.
He’s an aggressive businessman, but he’s clearly a risk taker, so he understands that game.
“He figures he’ll be fine either way, and probably looks at it and thinks our best bet this season is not the league at all, it’s can we win the Europa League, can we get in the Champions League, and who’s done that quite recently?
“But he’s a risk taker, he’s fine with it.”
Marinakis is a popular figure among the Forest fans after dramatically improving the club’s fortunes since taking over in 2017.
Former Everton CEO Keith Wyness told Football Insider Nuno decided to get himself sacked at Forest following his issues with Marinakis.
